Melissa has been the owner of Mountain Styles for over 8 years and doing hair behind the chair for 18. She specializes in dimensional color blonding, grey coverage, precision cutting, as well as hair extensions. Watching her vision of her salon space and culture come to life and continue to grow gives her pure joy. Outside of her salon home she enjoys time with her family, outdoor adventure, and travel. 

Wife, girl mom and stylist, Renee has been behind the chair since 2005. Originally from Massachusetts, she spent 9 years in Southern Florida perfecting her blonding and extension skills. She’s been voted Brattleboro’s Best Colorist two years in a row and has called Mountain Styles her home since 2021.

Karen has been behind the chair for over 30 years. She specializes in color, cutting, and texture. She is truly passionate about her craft and has been since the age of 5. She feels blessed to be in a welcoming work space where she can continue to do what she loves. 

Rebekah has been behind the chair over 3 years. She loves everything hair but especially loves, colors, highlighting, and personalized haircuts and clipper cuts. When she is not behind the chair she is happy to be home raising her two amazing children and making memories with her family.

Gabrielle has been behind the chair for 15 years. She specializes in coloring, grey coverage, precision cutting, and body waxing. She especially loves bob cuts. When she is not behind the chair she is spending time with her little family or in her garden.

Gracie was born and raised here in Brattleboro. Her passion is being behind the chair.  She loves creating all things color, especially blending, lived in color, and vivids. Above all, making her clients feel and look their best is why she loves what she does. Outside of the salon you'll find her spending time with her fiancé and our 3 cats, reading a good book, or doing some shopping therapy.

Amanda is currently a student at Keene Beauty Academy and is excited to start her journey in becoming a professional stylist.  She has had a passion for art and creation since she could remember. She is bringing her look good feel good motto into her career.  In her free time she loves to be in nature, spending time with her boyfriend and her five fur babies, painting, and scrolling through Pinterest.
